ALTON – Alton High School will be celebrating Black History Month with a fashion event titled “A Taste of Soul through Hair and Fashion” on Monday, Feb. 27 at the high school auditorium at 6 p.m.
The fashion show will display different styles of black hair and fashion through various times in black history, starting in Africa and ending in the 2000’s. A meal of soul food will be included, catered by Ray’s Wings and Things of Belleville. The meal will include yams, greens, dressing, mac and cheese and wings.
