The Business of Small business, Hospitality, and Auxiliary Solutions will host a Drop Style and Foods Truck Fest from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 4 on the William Pitt Union Plaza to advantage the Pitt’s United Way travel.

6 regional food items vans —Smokeland BBQ, Emporio Meatballs, Haskel’s Delicatessen, Pittsburgh Pierogies, Metal Metropolis Chimneys and Totopo Tacos — will be on hand and a part of food profits from the vehicles and for eating places in the University Club will be donated to the United Way.

Weather conditions-permitting, the vogue display will consider area at 12:30 p.m. outdoor in the William Pitt Union Plaza. If there is inclement temperature, the phase will be moved to the reduced lounge on the 1st floor inside the William Pitt Union. Pitt pupil volunteers will be product the most up-to-date in Pitt equipment and curated classic items, and new music will be furnished by WPTS, Pitt’s pupil-operated radio station.

The celebration is free to show up at. A part of the day’s retail product sales from The Pitt Shop, The College Keep on Fifth, and Maggie & Stella’s will be donated to United Way. The University Merchants will have a pop-up retail spot around the phase.

Pitt will rollover your payroll pledge from very last year’s marketing campaign (identical contribution sum and similar designations) into the 2022-23 marketing campaign. If you would like to evaluation last year’s payroll donation or make any adjustments, please do so between now and Dec. 14 by logging into my.pitt.edu. If you chose much less than 12 pay back periods last marketing campaign and get no action to update this year’s pledge, your 2023 pledge will stay the exact same and will get started with January’s payroll deduction. Payroll rollover applies to Greensburg, Johnstown and Pittsburgh campuses only.

Hoodies can be dropped off from 9 to 11 a.m. Nov. 9 at the Alumni Hall Connolly Ballroom or via Nov. 11 at Park Plaza, 128 North Craig St.

  • The United Way Poverty Spiral Exercise will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Nov. 9 at the Alumni Hall Connolly Ballroom. Staff members, faculty, learners and retirees are invited to sign up for us in this action that is intended to obstacle assumptions and aid a deeper comprehension of the struggles struggling with all those in need.
