With so many acting credits under Florence Pugh’s belt— from her breakout role in 2019’s Midsommar to her later performances in Little Women and Black Widow—it’s puzzling to think about how she keeps her mental and physical health in check while juggling so many projects and appearances. If you’re like us and also can’t help but wonder how the the Don’t Worry Darling star’s skin remains so clear throughout it all, it’s likely because of her superb skincare routine.

She prioritizes making sure her acne is under control.
Florence isn’t afraid to let the world know that even she gets a pesky pimple every once in a while. Back in April, the 26-year-old posted an Instagram story of her makeup-free face with three pimple patches on it, joking that she uses them to cover up blemishes almost daily.
“I should thank spot stickers in my credits because I truly thank them daily,” she captioned the selfie. These stickers are a super easy way to clear up acne in a pinch, as they often cover pimples with a hydrocolloid and/or salicylic acid shield to draw out impurities like oil and pus.
She prefers more lightweight complexion products.
Florence’s red carpet looks typically focus on “enhancing her natural beauty, and that starts with a fresh skin base,” her makeup artist, Naoko Scintu, told Refinery29. For her skin, she uses the Omorovicza Oxygen Booster, which is “like a lightweight plumping serum made from natural minerals sourced in Budapest,” according to Scintu. The serum rejuvenates and hydrates the skin before other products are applied on top.
Following the serum, Scintu will use the Omorovicza Balancing Moisturiser, which moisturizes the skin while also controlling shine.
She never forgets to wear sunscreen.
Many of the complexion products she wears typically contain SPF to keep her skin safe from sun damage. Scintu finds that Suqqu’s Nude Wear Liquid SPF gives Florence’s skin the perfect dewy look. “The finish is beautiful—so lightweight and fresh,” she told Refinery29. Plus, it’s light enough that it doesn’t cause her any breakouts, so it’s a win-win.
There’s a reason her skin never looks oily.
Like a lot of us, the actor’s T-zone tends to become especially oily over time, so Scintu uses Jurlique Rose Silk Finishing Powder on her whenever she does her glam. “It’s clean and natural, made with only Australian botanical ingredients, so it mattifies excess oil without clogging pores,” she told Refinery29.
It also helps that Scintu chooses cream-based formulas for cheek color and blush because they highlight her skin’s real texture but add a little pop.
She’ll choose lip balm over lip gloss almost every time.
Florence also prefers more neutral tones than bright pigments, per Refinery29. That’s why Scintu frequently turns to the Suqqu Moisture Rich Lipstick. “It’s a peachy tone that’s sheer but moisturizing, and gives a healthy shine,” she said.
Even for the Venice Film Festival, Florence and Babsky opted for the Rosso Valentino Refillable Lipstick in 108A “Living Nude” which complemented her look without taking away from her other striking features.
