The party was a collaboration of Vale Canada Women of all ages and Allies Network, United Metal Personnel (USW) 6500 Ladies of Steel, and Cambrian’s Centre for Wise Mining, with Vale serving as the major organizer and host.
“What an awesome evening,” states Pamela Drouin, Administrative and Communications Coordinator for Cambrian R&D, the college’s applied exploration division, in a press release.
“It brought with each other ladies doing the job in a broad variety of industries to advertise the chances that exist for ladies in mining and other fields. We want extra women of all ages to investigate these selections mainly because they are pretty rewarding and fork out well.”

The evening also involved display screen booths, and a panel discussion of ladies functioning in the mining related experienced trades, with the panel led by Stephanie Bleker, Supervisor of Vale’s Totten Mine.
